Description: Measuring about 5" x 7-1/2", these three hardback books are part of a larger series about World War Ii titled "The War on All Fronts." They are all published by Charles Scribner's Sons and all are dated 1919, but with earlier copyright dates. All three are shown in the first three pictures - front, spine and back. Then the remaining pictures are of the individual volumes, each series of pictures starting with the maps on the front end papers, and ending with the back end papers. The three volumes that we have, in the order shown in the pictures, are: Volume 2 -- "England's Effort, Letters to an American Friend", by Mrs. Humphry Ward, with a Preface by Joseph H. Choate, 263 pages. Volume 3 -- "Fighting France, from Dunkerque to Belfort", by Edith Wharton, 238 pages. Volume 5 -- "The War in Eastern Europe", by John Reed, pictured by Boardman Robinson, 329 pages. They are all in very good condition for their age, but with some light scuffs and light edge wear on the covers.
