Description: Up for auction is an incredibly rare (I've not seen another version of this particular book over the years) hardcover book titled, The UCLA Year 1966. This unique book wasn't as readily available as the more typical yearbook that was offered to UCLA students. This yearbook was a recap of events that happened in the last year of school. It served as a year in review. Most subjects are covered in the book, but there's definitely an emphasis on the sports programs at the school. Baseball, football, and most importantly basketball are highly featured. Included in this book is the obvious point of interest -- multiple shots (color and black and white) of the legendary Lew Alcindor/Kareen Abdul-Jabbar in his "freshman year" at the school.
