Hinges have just a bit of give & spine is slanted, but binding remains solid. Covers have wear & rubbing at corners & along edges, with some fraying to cloth at spine ends; mild rubbing to edges of spine. Facsimile dust jacket included to protect & display this book well. A nice, early printing of Petry's classic first novel, which won the Literacy Fellowship Prize. Ships well-packed in a box.
