Description: Very good hardcover book, early printing of the first edition, in very good unclipped dust jacket showing original price of 8.95. Book has the gutter code S10 at bottom corner of last page in the text. This is an early printing but not the first printing - the copyright page lacks the "first edition" designation. The jacket is in a Brodart protective cover; beneath the jacket cover a previous owner has used small pieces of tape at the corner folds of the jacket to fortify it and repair small tears. Jacket panels show some fading but are still presentable. Stains observed to a just a few of the text pages. Light physical wear to edges and corners of book. No previous owner inscriptions or book plates inside book. Binding secure. Please see all photos.
