Description: In 1940 a new series was developed for the Western Genre. The men heading that idea were Ray "Crash" Corrigan, Producer George Weeks and Monogram Pictures. S. Roy Luby was also on that team, working as director and film editor. The series consisted of 24 films with running times of approx 52 to 60 min each. They were filmed at the Corrigan ranch in Simi Valley, California.. The series ran from 1940-1943 This set is the complete series. The series consisted of 3 different sets of actors with the exception of Ray "Crash" Corrigan ( he was in two of the series) and Max "Alibi" Terhune (he was in all 24 films).Set 1 starred Ray "crash " Corrigan, John "Dusty" King and Max "Alibi" Terhune. This was considered to be the most well known of the trio. There were 16 films in this series.Set 2 starred John "Dusty" King, Dave "Davey" Sharpe and Max "Alibi" Terhune. Altough in the last entry of this series "Haunted Ranch" 1943 Sharpe leaves to join the army. Rex Lease then comes in to fill the trio. There were 4 films in this series.Set 3 starred Ray "Crash" Corrigan, Dennis "Denny" Moore and Max "Alibi" Terhune. This series found Corrigan back in again after his absence in 4 films. John King had left to join the service and Dennis Moore was hired to fill the trio. There were 4 films in this series. This was to be the last of the Range Busters series. This set comes in 4 hardcases with artwork (as pictured) and titles on all discs as well. We will replace any defective discs.
