THE NEW YORK YANKEES - AUTOGRAPHED SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH CO-SIGNED BY: HECTOR LOPEZ, FRANK TEPEDINO, BOBBY SHANTZ, BILLY BRYAN, BOBBY BROWN - HFSID 296886 THE NEW YORK YANKEES Five Yankees sign an 8x10 photograph showing the team's logo. Photograph signed: "Bobby Brown", "Bill Bryan", "Bobby Shantz", "Hector Lopez #11", and "Francis Tepedino", Color 8x10. HECTOR LOPEZ spent 12 seasons in the American League (1955-1966), the first 4 with the Kansas City A's and the rest with the New York Yankees. He appeared for the Yankees in five consecutive World Series (1959-1964). Surprisingly, however, his best seasons at the plate were in an Athletics uniform. The versatile Lopez played seven different field positions in his Major League career, everything except pitcher and catcher. Third baseman BOBBY BROWN (1924-2021) played with the Yanks from 1946 to 1954, claiming four World Series rings in 1947, 1949, 1950 and 1951 while studying for a medical degree. He has a career batting average of .279, hitting .300 or higher in his first three Major League seasons, with 22 home runs and 237 RBIs, as well as 444 putouts, 780 assists and 92 double plays as a defensive player. After leaving the majors, Brown practiced cardiology in the Dallas-Fort Worth area until the early 1980s, when he became a vice-president of the Texas Rangers. He was President of the American League from 1984 to 1994. Pitcher BOBBY SHANTZ, the first pitcher to win a Gold Glove, won the honor for the first four years it was awarded (1957-1960). Shantz, who played for the Philadelphia (1949-1954) and Kansas City (1955-1956) Athletics, the New York Yankees (1957-1960), the Pittsburgh Pirates (1961), the Houston Astros (1962), the St. Louis Cardinals (1962-1964) and the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies (1964), was also an All-Star in 1951, 1952 and 1957 and AL Most Valuable Player in 1952. He is the brother of catcher Billy Shantz, who played with Bobby for the A's in 1954-1955 and in one game for the Yankees in 1960. FRANK TEPEDINO played first base for the New York Yankees (1967, 1969-1970, 1971, 1972). He played in the Major Leagues for eight seasons and ended his career with a batting average of .241 and a fielding percentage of .984. BILLY BRYAN was signed by the Kansas City Athletics in 1960 and played 8 seasons in the Majors with the Athletics (1961-1966) New York Yankees (1966-1967) and Washington Senators (1968). A catcher, he played in 374 games and ended his career with a batting average of .216 and a fielding percentage of .984. Fine condition.
