It was published in 1999 and distributed in the U.S. by Stewart, Tabori & Chang. This book is a must for any bird watcher, it features: Actual size, lifelike colorful illustrations of bird nest - a format never-before-seen in book publishing A definitive collection of the most rare, exotic and popular species of birds and their nests illustrated in vibrant watercolor, gouche and sephia ink drawings A wealth of field observations and bird facts, along with fascinating myths and lore about birds and nests Most of the pictures are done with a small part of them not colored in, just the artist sketch is shown (you can see what I mean in the 6th picture, the one with the nest - the outer most edges are left a sketch) The book is good sized, it measures 15-1/4" by 11-1/2". The book has a small (about 1-1/4") wrinkle? on the bottom edge of the front cover and the back cover has a few scratches ( they are not very noticable, but you can feel them there) The inside of the book looks like it has hardly ever been opened. All of the pages are in great shape.
