Description: Up for sale is a rare Series A original poster from 1973 for the Robert Altman 70’s noir classic, “The Long Goodbye”, with artwork by Richard Amsel. This poster was purchased by me in 2017 from noted collectible poster dealer Film Art Gallery. It has remained in archival storage since then due to space. Rated EX condition, it has no folds, and no noticeable marks or tears. It is in genuinely like new condition. The poster was mounted on linen backing by Film Art Gallery prior to my purchase to maintain its superb condition. The poster is a first run theatrical one sheet measuring 27” x 41” (poster dimensions - approx 28 x 42 with linen backing margins.) I am pricing this poster at $1100 obro. Film Art Gallery has a slightly lesser quality example for sale right now at $1495. Poster will ship rolled in heavy duty cardboard shipping tube.
