His current interests are, especially, grammaticalization and historical syntax.Rumiko Shinzato, Ph.D. (1984), University of Hawaii, is Professor at Georgia Institute of Technology. She has published chapters/articles on aspect, evidentiality, subjectivity, grammaticalization and language maintenance.
