I’m now thinking I’d better go ahead and put the DJ in the cover and take more photos… LOL. Consider this an announcement. For the photos, however, I want you to see the jacket without its “make up.“ Book: Red linen cover boards are clean and have sharp corners. Spine has been bumped a bit on the bottom. No shelf wear, stains, foxing, tears, writing or dog-eared pages. A trace of toning is evident between the cover boards & endpaper , and in the rear gutter. Text block is bright. Dust Jacket: Price-clipped DJ shows some of the wear and edge soil associated with a white DJ protecting a fine book. It did its job. A bit of shallow creasing evident to lower front panel. The spine shows chipping at the bottom and a couple of small tears at the top. Full title is completely intact, however, and these imperfections will be smoothed out by the white backing of the mylar cover I will put on it for you. In all, a solid, clean, tight, bright copy of this 58 year old title by the author of Auntie Mame. *Both the Priority and Media Mail fee includes insurance*
