This was a special 40 page publication, an illustrated index of Phantom Lady stories published by Fox Features in the 1940s. Compiled and written by Gary Woloszyn and Bill Black. The Quality Comics and Ajax Comics versions are also covered. Illustrated by Bill Black reproducing much Matt Baker art. This book also features a 6 page PHANTOM LADY story "Wild Eyes!", appearing for the first time. The book is 7" X 8.5", has a B&W cover and interior pages printed on various tones of yellow stock (see pics). This book has been out of print for decades. However published Black cobbled together sheets of un collated pages printed in 1979 and reprinted missing pages making a few copies of the whole book. This is available for completists. The book is a hybrid. Also included with this auction is an 8.5" X 11" glossy color print of the cover image signed by artist Bill Black. Originally published by Paragon Publications in 1979. Bagged, boarded and mailed in stiff white envelope. NO FOREIGN ORDERS.
