Description: THE FLOWERING PEACH, Herald (Advertising Flyer), Colonial Theatre, Tryout, Boston, MA, 1954. The Clifford Odets play opened in NYC on 12/28/54 and ran for 135 performances. The front features title, a photo of Menasha Skulnik, cast and production credits, theatre credit, performance schedule and ticket schedule. The back contains short bios and a mail order ticket form. The cast includes Menasha Skulnik, Janice Rule, Berta Gersten, Barbara Baxley, William Smithers, Leon Janney, Martin Ritt, Sidney Armus and Osna Palmer. Directed by Clifford Odets. This is NOT a reproduction!! Heralds are advertising flyers that are placed at theatres and sometimes included in Playbills and programs. Sizes vary but most of the older ones are 6 x 9 1/2 inches. Brochure style heralds can be one sheet or multi folds and measure about 3 3/4 x 8 1/2 inches. Condition is near excellent with minor wear. International purchases are subject to a $2.00 handling fee. CONDITION: I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality: Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
