Description: A good condition hardcover copy of 'The First Copyright Statute: An Essay on An Act for the Encouragement of Learning, 1710' by Harry Ransom. The dust jacket has some small smudges and stain spots. It appears as though there are some spots where silverfish have eaten the outer layer, mostly along the spine section. There is some bump and rub wear along the edges, with a few small tears along the upper edge. There is some tanning to the spine section. The outside of the book, itself, has some minor bump damage to the top of the spine, as well as some light rub wear along the edges. There is also a small water stain spot to the upper outer page edges. Inside the pages are crisp and clean, with no writing or markings, as well as no bends or folds. A copy with some wear, but overall still in very nice condition. Shipped via USPS Media Mail.
