Description: Very Rare 1875 Edition, Spons Architects, Builders and Contractors Pocket Book of Prices & Memoranda. I find no record of any other copy this early - the earliest I can locate is an 1878 copy listed by The Australasian Chapter of The Association for Preservation Technology International. Later copies are listed by Gutenberg and various Universities and libraries worldwide This is possibly the 7th Edition, as it seems they were published yearly (up to the current time) from 1870. Condition is used - refer to photos. Has wear and tear, creasing but the text is in quite good order. It looks as if the pages are all complete thought here is a numbering anomaly at the start as the title page is 'B2' but the reverse side is number 4. 334 pages in total going from the numbering. Inscription to the title page.At the front inside cover there is a page likely pasted-in, this being a page numbered 35 &36 - it's not from this edition so possibly from an earlier book (subject 'building memoranda) - this page is torn from it's 'mount'. Pages 35/36 in this edition are on strength of cast-iron columns.At the rear of the book, another page (31/32) has been pasted in, referring to "Sprague & Co, Draughtsmen" - possibly from the same book as the front cover pasted-in page.There a number of illustrations in the book.Pages are red-lined Shipping cost shown directly is to the UK mainland only, else via global shipping at cost, all customs issues etc to be covered by the buyer..
