Description: This is a rare and valuable first edition book titled "The Dictatorship of the Dove" by Francis Gerard. It was published in 1936 by Rich & Cowan LTD. The condition is good minus. It comes with the original dust jacket, with its stunning art deco work and is cloth bound. It has age related wear, and it has foxing to the first few pages and last few pages. Tanning on the rest. There are a few ink stamps from the "Melba Book Club" to the title pages and the end page. The dust jacket was reinforced by the book club in the 1930/40s with paper tape, but will need some tlc.
