Description: A very clean engraving , dated 1872 , measures 9 3/8 x 12 1/2 , image is 5 1/4 x 8 , middle has printed in small letters Entered according to act of congress A.D. 1872............. below that is title " CUMBERLAND GAP ". The Cunberland Gap forms the triangle of Kentucky , Virginia and Tennessee and was used by people in the 1800s to get to the Western part of our country. It was named after the Duke of Cumberland of England. Very nice and clean. See pictures.
