Description: For sale is a well used and played copy of the board game The Campaigns of Robert E. Lee (1988) and The Army of the Heartland: The Army of Tennessee's Campaign, 1861-63 (1996) both published by Clash of Arms Games. Both games are complete, but the box for Campaigns of Robert E Lee has 4 blown corners with visible scotch tape. Box bottom has one blown corner. Both maps have the beginnings of map separation along the folded seems from numerous game plays. Counters are all accounted for and the rule book has a lot of ink underlining of which I have specific photos in this listing. The Army of the Heartland is unplayed with unpunched counter sheets. I have tried my best to include quality photos of this item for your inspection and evaluation of condition. Photos from this sale are of the actual item you will receive. Thank you for visiting my sale! From the publisher and board game geek website The Campaigns of Robert E. Lee (1988) The Campaigns of Robert E. Lee is a Strategic-Operational level wargame simulation of warfare in the Eastern Theater of the American Civil War. The game offers ten scenarios covering fighting between Union and Confederate forces in Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania between 1861 and 1865. Each turn represents about five days of real time; each hex an area of roughly four miles across. Players are faced with the same problems of strategy and tactics their historical counterparts faced throughout the war. Awards and Honors1988 Charles S. Created by award-winning designer John Prados, and using the same scale and game system as his earlier Campaigns of Robert E. Lee, this game focuses on the critical, but largely ignored actions in Kentucky, Tennessee and northern Georgia between 1861 and 1863. The game includes 560 die-cut counters and two stunning maps depicting the 'heartland.' You also get two army display sheets, a 32 page rulebook with 8 pages of charts and tables and 9 scenarios covering the major engagements. A campaign game scenario covering the whole crucial year of 1863 is also included to allow players to explore the options available to both sides."
