Description: Paul Bonaventure Senior and Dave Hess founded The Bookman together in 1990. They met when they were working at Anaheim’s famous used bookstore named ‘The Book Baron’. They used to meet for morning meals and think about opening a bookstore sometime. That time came in March 1990 as The Bookman commenced business at its Tustin Avenue location. Its second location named Bookman Too was opened in the City of Huntington Beach. The expansion meant that the bookstore had a business presence on two of Orange County’s busiest streets. However, the early 2000’s saw the emergence of Amazon as a web-based bookseller. In 2007, the bookstore that inspired their venture, 'The Book Baron', went out of business. It 2019, The Bookman reopened on Katella Avenue in the same community after being forced to move due to a new landlord’s plans for upscale development. This bookmark measures 6 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches. It features an illustration of a woman reading a romance novel. It has very slight wear along the top edge including a very tiny crease to the top left-hand corner. It comes from a smoke and fragrance-free home. It will be well packaged to ensure it arrives safely. Please check out our other bookstore bookmarks. We'll combine shipping.
