Description: The Beatles White Album 1968 mono vinyl LP, low mothers, no emi, plays well Initial numbered edition with top opening G & L gatefold sleeve, black inners, poster & 4 colour prints, dark green Apple labels with Ⓟ & "Sold In The UK...." text.This was released in error omitting the text 'E.M.I. Recording' on the label, so a second version The Beatles was promptly released with the corrected labels. Condition and details below: Matrix / Runout (Runout side A, variant 2): XEX 709-1 - mother, 1, stamper, PMatrix / Runout (Runout side B, variant 2): XEX 710-1 - mother, 1, stamper, OMatrix / Runout (Runout side C, variant 2): XEX 711-1 - mother, 3, stamper, LPMatrix / Runout (Runout side D, variant 2): XEX 712-1 - mother, 2, stamper, T PLEASE VIEW ALL THE PHOTOS The gatefold, top opening sleeve has yellowed a bit overall. The front has slight damage and a few marks and some noticeable staining to the 'The Beatles' embossed title and the serial number (0055786). The back is clearer and inside the gatefold is good. The spine is rubbed away but wording is still just legible The original black die cut inner sleeves are still intact and useable , with some creasing and small rips around the holes The poster is intact, has some spot stains, folds well The 4 portraits are in great condition, no pin holes etc. Very Nice set The labels are great, no writing , a few light scratches and KT side one There are plenty of scuff marks/light scratches/hairlines on all 4 sides , the most noticeable , bolder mark on side 4; these do impact with crackle and pops in places , although LP1 is the better sound overall...please see photos and the video clip Playback - side one - great, a few light ticks on dear prudence; plays very clearly overall, some very light crackle in between a few tracks side two - great again overall, a few very light ticks on Martha My Dear - really good sound overall... side three - some more noticeable crackle at the start, then only really there in the quiet bits/between tracks. Nice sound again. side four - same as side three , the bolder mark and additional light scratches do not have much impact, so, again, this sounds great too! LISTEN TO THE CLIPS - SOUNDS GREAT!
