Good Plus (G+): A record rated in this condition will have surface noise such that it may overpower the music at times. It will have marks that tic or pop. It is a listenable record but not a collector copy. The jacket may have serious problems. Good (G): A record rated in this condition will have significant surface noise. It will have marks that tic or pop and may have scratches that skip. It is listenable record but may be unpleasant to some ears. The jacket will have serious problems. I ship lps in professional lp mailers with a sandwich of filler cardboard on both sides of the record for added stiffness. I also ship the vinyl outside the lp jacket to ensure no seam splits. After professionally cleaning the vinyl with a VPI record cleaning machine, I put the cleaned vinyl in a fresh sleeve and house the jacket in a new protective sleeve that seals so that no dust can enter. It's what I do for my lp collection and so do the same for the new owner of the lp for sale.
