Description: Collection of 8 different fossil bivalves from the Cretaceous Paw Paw formation in Tarrant County, Texas. A nice variety of fauna from a formation that is quickly disappearing under rapid development in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. These have not been identified as to genus/species so the fun will be in identifying the specimens to see if any are rare. The one that looks like a sawtooth bivalve measures just over 2 inches. The cube is for size perspective as it measures 1 cm. It is not part of the sale.
