Description: 7” turritella slab/plate from the woodbine/eagle ford formation border. These little gastropods are ornate and less common than the typical oysters found in the formation, making it a nice addition to your fossil collection. turritella of various sizes on both sides of the slab are visible, many rich in calcite crystals. Found near DFW Airport in Tarrant County TX late 2023. I personally discovered this fossil plate, just as I’ve found all fossils sold by DFW fossils, unless stated specifically. PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS PRIOR TO PURCHASE. SOME SHOW THE FOSSILS UNDER UV 365 nm LIGHTING, SOME PICS SHOW REGULAR LIGHTING. NO UV light is included with the purchase. No stand is included either.
