Description: Vintage in original packaging, Tex Shoemaker Model No. 37 PPC (Police Pistol Combat) black basketweave leather swivel competition holster. Belt loop compatible with belts up to 2+1/4". Inside of the holster is smooth leather lined. One position swivel snap for the hidden swivel. A layer of reinforcing metal is laminated between the double thick leather. Design is able to be shaped to a variety of revolvers, most notably the Smith and Wesson K or L frames or Colt I/E frames. (Python, Trooper, 3-5-7, Official Police, etc.) Tex shoemaker went out of business in 2017 after 81 years in operation. Their holsters saw success both among actual law enforcement officers and as props in movie and T.V., such as the holsters of Jim Hopper in Stranger Things and Rick Grimes in the Walking Dead.
