Description: Please read & note: This is a Rights holding DVD created & produced by me and is not factory made or sealed. I strive to produce the best DVD's possible from the sometimes VERY old Public Domain material. Films that are public domain are unpreserved and not professionally remastered. I remaster all of my films myself to the best possible quality achievable. My DVDs are not the quality of todays Modern DVDs or Bluray discs. If you are looking for this kind of quality then these discs are not for you. Please note this when purchasing, but also know that all of the films are very watchable. All pictures are actual screen captures from the DVDs. To keep my prices as low as possible all my DVDs are delivered in plain paper DVD sleeves and the DVDs title will be labeled on the back of the DVD envelope. This way you can write the contents of the DVD on the DVD yourself if you want to. (See picture). All of my DVD's come with a menu for easy film selection. Total runtime of this DVDs is 40 minutes. Film 1: Beginning to Date (1953) B&W Runtime 11 minutesThis film, similar in vein to 'Dating Do's And Don'ts' follow dating-challenged kids around and shows them what to do and what not to do. A teen party is coming up, and we're shown how two boys go about asking girls to it. George asks Mildred, who looks far too old (and 2 feet taller) then his proposed date. Amazingly, she accepts. Anyways, the other kid clumsily asks his date on the phone. Soon, they're off meeting the parents and then off to the date itself. Release Date: 1953Entered the Public Domain: 1982 Film 2: Dating: Do's and Don'ts (1949) COLOR Runtime 12 minutesA classic of film ephemera.Woody has the hots for Ann, so they go on a nice wholesome date to the Hi-Teen Carnival and have a swell time.Clearly Ann is the right choice with her chipmunk smile and frighteningly exuberant attack on the cotton candy. She goes at it like a wolf on a three legged lamb. They also show us what not to do on a date.Loads of fun.Release Date: 1949Entered the Public Domain: 1978 Film 3: What to Do on a Date (1950) B&W Runtime 10 minutesNow, honestly, how many teenagers do you know who don't know what to do on a date? Amazingly, they found one clueless enough for this film. Of course, what they're really hoping to do is convince teenagers that what you do on a date is lots of wholesome group activities at the local teen center. Our really dorky hero has to be cattle-prodded into asking the girl next door to go to a rummage sale with him, where much to his surprise he finds out that she likes weenie roasts and taffy pulls! And what a coincidence, those things are on the teen center schedule of upcoming wholesome events!Release Date: 1950Entered the Public Domain: 1979 Film 4: You and Your Friends (1946) B&W Runtime 7 minutesHere we are at a nice, friendly party. Watch carefully everything the people at this party do and say, then ask yourself, 'would I rate them plus or minus as friends?' Ready? Here we go!A great dating film that has some really stellar lines. This woeful party has it all! Backstabbing! Gluttony! Revenge! Bad Dancing! Situation after situation is played out, with a narrator just barraging us with questions about what we saw was "right".So kids, if you're going to lie about getting out of your date next week, don't tell anyone.Release Date: 1946Entered the Public Domain: 1975 I claim ownership and rights to this media. All the films on this DVD have been researched and are copyright free or the copyrights have expired due to non renewal.
