Description: Up for sale is a TEAC A-103 cassette deck in excellent, used condition that has been partially serviced to plays tapes again. The original belts (except the tape counter belt) had turned to goo so I opened up the transport and replaced them with fresh belts. All of the old sticky belt good was removed and a few spots were re-lubricated so they work smoothly. There are 3 belts inside this deck and I was only able to get to 2 of them without serious, beyond my abilities disassembly. The only original belt was the counter and it actually seemed fine. I’ve included the replacement in case it ever happens to break. All pots were cleaned and lubed which brought back a fading right channel during initial testing.
