Description: This covered vegetable serving dish was made by Alfred Meakin from England in the 1870s. It is a tealeaf copper lusterware style, and says “Royal Ironstone China.” The serving dish is rectangular 6” x 10” with chamfered corners and is 5” tall inches tall if you include the handle on the cover. There is a crack on the bottom and sides, but the piece is still intact and has not been repaired. The piece also has normal discoloration, wear and tear as is usual with this type of iron stone china. Please see photos for its vintage condition. Sold as is.
