Description: Up for Buy it Now or Best Offer is a 1940's Swiss Gubelin men's mechanical wristwatch in a round stainless steel case. The watch measures 33.56mm including a steel crown. The silver dial shows patina but is in good condition for its age and features numerals and dots and a 60 seconds chapter ring. The steel brushed and glss case is in very good condition. I have not opened the back, which is tight on the case, because I do not have a large caseback opener. Some jewelry and watch shops do have one. It has initial engraving. It is missing hands. The movement does not appear to wind but the hand does turn the cannon pinion. I do not know what the mechanical movement is. It is being sold for repair/restoration.
