Featuring a celluloid dome shape window rivet mounted to the top, it covers a charming winged Christmas angel scrap, sides are finished with old wallpaper as shown. Probably home made, the celluloid edges are cut with a fine, jagged design and tinted pink. Think this is just the sweetest - someone spent quite a bit of time to make a special box to house a Christmas gift. I've always displayed it with my pink luster Christmas cups and saucers. Condition is very nice with all the inconsistencies of a hand made item - a bit of bumping to the bottom edge scallops, slight age-related yellowing to the celluloid bubble window, and a bit of staining on the underside.
