Description: Sweden Scott 38/Facit 38a, 1 Krona brown/blue Ringtyp perf 13, the more difficult first shade, used example with perfectly placed STRENGNÄS 28.12.1879 town cancel, light pencil mark on the back, good perfs, overall a fresh stamp without hidden faults-- with a great quality cancel! Single cancels are quite difficult to find on 1 Krona, as most of these stamps were used on parcel cards in large cities and received multiple cancels on each stamp. Scott value is $20.00++. Facit values this printing at 250:- SEK (or about US $23.50). Facit Postal values this cancel at 20:- SEK (about US $1.90), not rare but still very difficult on 1 Kr in this quality!
