Description: Super Rare 2010 World Cup Italy, Azzurri HUGE Bus Stop Poster 70”x48”. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. The graphics on this Colossal poster are absolutely stunning. In fact, this stopped being a poster and became a piece of art at some point. The material doesn’t have a poster paper feel to it, it feels more durable like a coated card stock or vinyl. It is single sided, 70” tall and 48” wide and would look amazing framed for a game room, sports bar or man cave. It really is eye catching and a talking piece. I don’t know much about the pieces origin but it does look like it was displayed somewhere, just not outdoors. The main graphic is in excellent condition, in fact the only flaws I see are on the edges which shows a line where they must have put it in some sort of frame. The line is more of an indentation and not scratches. On the back side, it has a plastic piece that runs the width of the bottom and top edges, again probably used in the display of the item. The good news is that this can easily be hidden when framed. The graphic shows three of Italy’s all time greats. Gianluigi Buffon, regarded as one, if not the all time, best goal keeper. Fabio Cannavaro who dominated at defense in the 2006 World Cup and Andrea Pirlo, one of the best to ever put on an Azzurri jersey. They are depicted as gladiators, defending their 2006 world Cup victory by fighting off contenders such as the Ivory Coast, (Elephant) and I think the black lion is either the Netherlands or England, but I’m not sure. This poster was intended to promote the 2010 World Cup at subways and bus stops, however it is really a statement piece and probably the most well done of all the ESPN posters for the 2010 World Cup.
