Description: This is an ORIGINAL, blank back/thin paper handbill (approx. 8 1/2" x 11", and printed prior to the shows) that was used to promote a series of early shows at the historic Grande Ballroom in Detroit. These shows took place November 25 & 26, 1966, and featured the MC5 (Avant Rock), Jagged Edge & Black and Blues Band. The classic psychedelic sixties image that adorns this handbill was designed by Rob Tyner of the MC5, and is just the 7th image in the Russ Gibb Grande series. This beautiful handbill has been very carefully preserved for over fifty years, and remains in BEAUTIFUL NEAR MINT condition.
