It fits snugly above the rub rail of the hull to seal out dirt and water. The cover installs securely with an elastic cord and four straps with buckles across the deck. This cover is compatible with our Sunfish Deck Cover and Mast Up Cover in order to completely enclose your boat. Made from genuine Sunbrella fabric. This fabric boasts a 5 year warranty against color fading and loss of strength in the sun. The fabric is waterproof, breathable, and resists mildew, U/V, and chafe. All of the sewing on our Sunbrella covers is done in Tenara thread for the ultimate UV resistance. Tenara thread has a 15 year warranty against UV degradation. For those not familiar with Tenara thread it is a Teflon product by the W.L. Gore company, the manufacturers of Gore-Tex.
