Description: BEAUTIFUL vintage treasure… and the CROCODILES are too COOL!! Barry Kieselstein Cord is not as commercial a designer as the brands that are copied and sold on every street corner but if you know of them, you know they are one of the MOST DETAIL oriented, EYE CATCHING and ELEGANT of the handbag designers. From the gold tone CROCODILE heads that function as the clasps to close your handbag - to the tiny metal crocodile FEET that sit on the bottom of the bag to PROTECT IT when you set it down - it is AMAZING IN EVERY DETAIL. The stitching and woven leather are of the highest quality and the interior is as beautifully designed as the exterior. All hardware is gold tone and interior is lined with a zipper pocket and three other smaller pockets. I have used this bag once and the cross body strap has never been used and has remained inside its plastic in the dust bag since I got it. The leather upper is a rich dark brown that makes me think of dark chocolate or coffee. Inside, the woven leather is similar in color but outside in the light you see it has a bit of burnt brick color highlighted throughout. CONDITION - The bag is in fantastic condition. You can see from the pictures the inside is immaculate and the bottom doesn’t look like it has ever been put down anywhere other than on it’s dust bag. There are some minor marks in the leather that you can see clearly in the photos. Many of them are natural “scars” and some look like they might be from nails when you open and close the bag. You can really only see them when you look closely for them under the light but I don’t want there to be any negative surprises so I want to make sure you can see them in the photos. :-) Honestly, you would not know this bag had ever been used, it is immaculate with no stains, tears, or broken woven leather straps.
