Description: These extraordinary pieces of folk art incorporate traditional Huichol symbols, including serpents, peyote, candles, and arrows. These works are petitions to the gods, depicting the (often shamanic) visions of the artist. Both pieces are signed on the back by the artist, Jose Taizan Gonzalez, and includes his handwritten inscription describing the symbolism in the work. Each has the same square dimensions. Both yarn art are 11.75” wide and the frames measure 13.25” wide. Both yarn art pieces are done on board and are adhered to the frames using double sided tape. This allows for easy frame replacement should you prefer to have them mounted differently. Banana For Scale. Not included!
