Description: A beautiful antique Art Deco pools of light necklace. During the Art Deco period, pools of light necklaces became very popular. The beautiful quartz crystal beads take on the color of the fabric against which they rest and reflect other tones and hues in an almost magical manner. This pools of light necklace have silver wires that wrap around the crystal spheres or orbs. The necklace measures approximately 24 1/2" inches long and has 30 orbs that each measure 1/2" or 13mm. The orbs have double refraction qualities which means when things are viewed through them, they are upside down and backwards. The crystal orbs are made of quartz and have a "glow" to them. The spheres or orbs are not pierced as the silver wire wraps around the sphere and holds it in place. The necklace has a secure silver clasp with a gorgeous flower design. Overall, in excellent condition. A couple of the orbs have very tiny nicks.Shipping is provided by the U.S. Postal Service via priority mail.
