Description: Travel back in time with this vintage Stradivarius copy violin. Made in Czechoslavakia. With a 14" body and 23-1/8" overall length, it is a 4/4, full-size violin. As Czechoslavakia was only a country from about 1918 to 1992, it's from sometime in there. Cosmetically, it looks pretty good, but does have ordinary age and play wear. There are some scratches around the body. There is wear through the finish along the sides of the body. "Copy of Antonius Stradivarius, Made in Czechoslavakia" is on the inside label of the violin. Two-piece back has fairly brilliant flaming. Flamed maple sides and neck. Spruce top. New strings. It comes with an unmarked violin bow. The bow needs to be rehaired. It comes with keys, sand paper, cleaning cloth, an extra chin rest, a shoulder rest, and a violin mute. It comes in a black hard plastic molded case. The middle case latch doesn't work. The case handle and hinges work properly. Questions? It will be well packed with plenty of new 1/2" bubble wrap and shipped in a new 32"x19"x7" stout cardboard instrument box.
