Description: The vase is 15 7/8 inches tall. It looks like a factory drill hole in the base with the Stonelain "jug" mark near the edge. There is a 3/4 inch shallow chip off the base. It was saved in 3 big pieces plus a little shard. I have taken a photo of the open chip with each piece added on until it is filled except for the shard which is still in the plastic sleeve. I think there is another smaller shard that is missing that wasn't saved. See the close-ups. All the chip pieces are wrapped and taped inside the vases. There are a few scratches near the top as shown. There is a 1/16th inch pit under the white tag that says please handle gently. The glaze is beautiful with a sea green over an oxblood red over the length of the lamp base. There is a light blue near the rim. The vase is not perfectly symmetrical over the almost 16 inch height but appears to list a tad to a side but not as much as it is showing in the photos. I hadn't noticed the slight asymmetry to one side until I took the photos then checked the vase. Everything on my hmnpwr site and my sister's 2vegburg site is from our parent's collections. They started collecting in the early 70's, mainly in the San Francisco Bay Area at the flea markets, shows, auctions and estate sales. They also traveled to LA or the east coast to buy and sell. Their interests were mostly early American to midcentury American and Scandinavian ceramics. They also collected tableware, concentrating on California production. We regularly list new pieces that have been stored away for decades. If for any reason you are not satisfied, just contact me; I accept returns and will pay shipping both ways.
