The Nutcracker has never been displayed. COLLECTOR PIN included.The Forester was the third in the Steinbach Collector's Club Nutcracker Series and was introduced in 1998. The Forester plays a very meaningful role in the production of the nutcrackers. Without the expert advice and planning of the Forester, the balance of the forests as well as the creation of the nutcrackers could not be achieved. In a charming green cloak with a feather in his cap, the Forester carries a stick as well as a basket of mushrooms. His mushrooms are a symbol of luck that guides his path with good fortune. The Forester is a highly trained and educated individual who calculates the precise extraction of the trees from the forests in order to preserve their balance and harmony. He insures that the exact tree is removed at the right moment in order to achieve his goal. Since this character plays such an important role, Steinbach decided to create a nutcracker in his honor.This piece is from my personal collection as a Charter Member of the Steinbach Charter Collector’s Club.
