Description: ABOUT THIS LISTING: Beautiful set of (3) white mohair bears produced by Steiff between 1985 - 1988. They can be seen on page 384 of the "SteiffSortiment 1947 - 1995" book. Bear # 0158/25, size 25 cm., Bear #0158/31, size 31 cm, and Bear #0158/41, size 41 cm. They are replicas of a 1904 bear made by Steiff after President Theodore Roosevelt refused to shoot a bear during a hunting expedition in 1902 and the name "Teddy Bear" emerged. They are all fully jointed, have a shaved muzzle, sewn mouth and nose, and stitching for fingers and toes. The pads of their hands and feet are finished leather. They each have all of their I.D. and are in "like new" condition. The largest of the (3) bears has a growler. Stands are not included. They are bears from my Mother's den in Montana.
