Description: Here we have, a nice, Starrett #98, 12" machinists level with the original box.The level is made of steel and has a chromed case covering the glass vials The large vial has the rotating cover over it to protect it from breakage.There are two glass vials.The large one inside the chrome tube, and the small cross level on the end ofthe metal base.There is no rust that I can find, but the chrome case may need a little buffing.Looks like a smudge on it when it is closed.The box is a little worse for wear. Corners are split on the lid on one end, and one corner on the other end.Bottom of the box is good.The box measures 13" long, 3" wide, and is 1 3/4" high. Identification label on one end, and the top has their logo printed in gold lettering..If you collect tools that you can still use, and work with metal, this is a nice piece.As it is it weighs 3 1/2#'s!
