Description: Original lithograph signed in stone by Joan Miro titled “Star Scene”, probably done by the famous printer Mourlot in Paris. The visible part measures approx. 20 3/4″ x 13″ and with the frame measures 24 1/4″ x 18 1/2″, I didn’t remove it from the frame to measure the sheet, so it’s a bit larger than the visible part. Comes with a certification of authenticity (COA) attached to the back with impressed seal. Frame is heavier than would be expected. In "Star Scene" we can appreciate part of Miró gestural drawing that so characterized him, in addition to his traditional palette that generates rhythms and visual pauses; In the image Miró generates representation through visual codes such as the dots that enclose the entire image, like a starry sky at night. Condition is excellent/vintage. Have not removed from frame so can only speak to condition of visible aspects of this piece. There is not a wire on the back. Please look at the photographs carefully as they are the largest component of the physical description of this item.
