Cordwainer Smith level world building. The book takes place in the very far future. The narrator was more or less seanced back to life by an old friend. The image of an elderly man in an old fashioned duck coat chasing around a barely fathomable world with a children's ball maze in his hand, and elderly people shrinking until they become...well, unborn. Very worthwhile.” Someone will adapt this to a movie and copies like this will become even scarcer. Viking Press hardback edition February 1946. Nice condition as shown
