Interestingly Antonie Fromholz Birnbach was an artist and this is an envelope that contained a letter from Conrad Birnbach who was in the US army in the civil war in the surgeon Generals office. He subsequently became an Episcopal pastor. I am including a picture of her artwork I have. It is not included in the auction just for reference.
