Description: Staiger Quartz Lead Crystal Desk Clock West Germany Battery Power Works This vintage 1980s Staiger desk clock is in good condition and we deemed that based on this items age, history and use. It does have one conditional issue which is a chip that is very hard to see because of the crystal design but it is on the side close to the face portion of the crystal. You can feel it slightly with a finger probably more than you can see it. Otherwise the clock is in very good to excellent condition with no other significant flaws. The clock has been tested and does work with a AA battery. It does have a light ticking sound. The face cover of the clock is plastic. There may be some light surface scratching which is to be expected from being handled and cleaned in it's former home. The clock measures approximately 4" square with rounded corners. The side is approximately 1.75". It is heavy weighted at almost 2 lbs. Please note that the battery is NOT included with the item.
