Considering he is surrounded by lions, we might assume he was martyred in the arena with other early Christians; and he is dressed like a bishop. There is also another St Felix from centuries later who was said to be able to talk to lions and other felines, so it might be him, too!St Theodore is a bit easier. St Theodore the Recruit was a well-known early Christian martyr who was also a Roman soldier. I'm not sure why these two saints are together on this one medal; but I will continue to research them both and hopefully will figure it out. In the meantime I decided to list it on Ebay not only to make it available but to see if anyone - please - can tell me more about these saints, especially Felix, I would appreciate it!
