Spirit: Dark Eyed Woman/New Dope In Town 1969 ODE ZS7-122 Terre Haute Press VG+

Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Spirit titled "Dark Eyed Woman b/w New Dope In Town", originally released in 1969 by ODE Records. I bought this record used, profesionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The original inner sleeve is graded as Fair because of bent corners, a seam split along the bottom, two tears along the center hole and small tears and wrinkles along the top opening. The archival inner sleeve is Near Mint. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched "T", indicating that the record was made at Columbia Records' pressing plant, located in Terre Haute, Indiana. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and small hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip, but still with surfaces without scuffs or scrapes. I'm play grading it as Very Good Plus because of low levels of surface noise and an occasional pop on Side Two, none of which over-powers the music or the vocals. It plays all the way through without any skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Terre Haute pressing.
