Description: This used 100 Spanish peseta note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Spain. It is a blue, green, orange, and purple note that is dated 01 July 1925, bear the signatures of Carlos Vergara Cailleaux, Adolfo Castaño Orejon, and Bonifacio Burgos Delgado, and measures 141 mm x 101 mm. Its obverse side features King Philip II of Spain and a monastery in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. Its reverse side shows the chair of Felipe II in the Escorial. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of Juan de Austria. The note was also withdrawn in 1939.
