Description: Up for auction is an interesting souvenir album with 21 different views from Holland. ca 1890. Titled Souvenir de La Hollande on front board. These were published by Andries Jager whose firm was located in Amsterdam. This type of album was typical to the tourist trade during Victorian Grand Tours. The images all measure approximately 4" by 6". The photographs are in good condition. All are connected on linen. The first is pasted to the front board and the rest fold out. I assume they are all present as the are connected. If any are missing they are from the end. Overall VG minus condition. Wear to boards with minor soiling. Some light wear to photos. Light browning to all photo cards. Writing to back board. Photos are not connected to back board and the whole set appears loose but I assume this is how it was published as otherwise you would not be able to view all of them as they wouldn't fold out.
