Description: Sony TC-K81 3-Head Cassette Deck - Please read This has been in my garage for many years ,along with about 20 other pieces of vintage gear.I turned it on today to see what would happen.Unit goes into rewind ,and fast forward fine.Counter also works.The heads stay in the down position.I was told on a HI FI Message board ,that it probably needs belts ,as they may be slipping.I bought this in about 1982-3.Worked perfect when I put it away in my garage about 20 years ago.If you are a tech guy ,and can replace the belts ,you wIll probably have a fantastic cassette deck.
