Description: For sale is a Sony 7065 Stereo Receiver, Sony’s flagship receiver at the time. Back then receivers were designed for one thing alone, making great sounding music. I purchased the receiver about 20 years ago. In 2013 the right channel stopped working so I had every capacitor in the receiver replaced and lights replaced with led lights. The unit has been working perfectly ever since. A couple of months ago the receiver was checked out by Mort’s Repair, they cleaned all the pots, resoldered some areas and oiled the cabinet, the unit looks and plays great. The receiver has lots of power and smooth sound. In the past I had a pair of AR98’s and currently are powering a pair of Paradigm Reference Studio 100’s. The Sony has no problem driving either speakers. The Sony looks and sounds great, check out the pictures. I must sell the Sony and speakers because they are just too heavy for me to handle at this point. I think the Sony weighs 30+ pounds. I will only ship to the continental USA. There are no returns.
